Let the Students Speak

I have now been in Phoenix for almost 5 yr. Still practicing Occ Med. The amount of Narcotic and other substance abuse out here is incredible. Instead of getting a diagnosis and appropriate treatment so many patients go for “pain management” another word for narcotics. I have said it before and will say it again. Thank you for helping me better understand the proper treatment of chronic pain. I wish this was a mandatory class in every medical school. It is so sad to see so many people addicted and thinking they are receiving proper treatment. Arlen
